Sept. 1989 -- Rob dreams up "talk show" idea and visits ECTV for the first time.
 
Feb. 1990 -- First show produced.
 
March 1990 -- Scott Lamberty's first appearance as musical sidekick.  
 
June 1990 -- Article about Rob appears in the Evanston Review.
 
Sept. 1990 -- Rob gets arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.  
 
March 1991 -- First hour long, "live" show.
 
April 1991 -- Artist Ed Paschke appears as a guest.
 
Aug. 1991 -- Fred Willard appears as a part of the show winning a contest on Comedy Central.
 
Nov. 1991 -- Rob appears on "Access America" on Comedy Central.
 
Nov. 1991 -- Chicago Sun-Times article about Rob by Ginny Holbert.
 
Feb. 1992 -- 50th show - "A Look Back"
 
March 1992 --
John Wefler, Producer / Director quits the show in a fit of immature rage.
 
June 1992 -- Ron Kaplan settles into the role of director.
 
May 1993 -- Article about Rob in The Daily Northwestern.
 
June 1993 -- A segment about Rob on "48 Hours" on CBS.
 
Jan. 1994 -- Rob looks and feels rather sick.  
 
July 1994 -- Rob diagnosed with kidney failure.
 
July 1994 -- 100th Show!!!
 
Jan. 1995 -- "Wild Chicago" host, Ben Hollis appears on the show.
 
March 1995 -- The future Mrs. Linkhart, Cheryl Anderson, is a guest on the show.
 
July 1995 -- Rob gets a new kidney!
 
Oct. 1995 -- Rob's first show back.
 
Jan. 1996 -- Jazz guitartist -- Fareed Haque
 
Nov. 1996 -- Rob and Cheryl get married "LIVE" on the show!
