1. I shared InvoicesOnline with peers but they're concerned information will be used for telemarketers, mailing lists etc. Comments please?
We are not in the habit of harvesting user data for good or evil means. You are sending unencrypted data about yourself over the Internet when you hit the submit button on the invoice creation form. Any number of hackers with packet sniffers are out there at any time. They might intercept a packet with your phone number on it and use it for unscrupulous activities. Then again, the phone company has your number already, and they sold your name to telemarketers years ago.
2. Can I buy the code?
Did hell freeze over?
3. What kind of traffic do you get?
In 2008, over 100,000 invoices were created. We have seen a drastic drop-off of invoice creation since October 2008, a sign of the weakened global economy.
4. How do you make money to support this awesome system?
Money? I don't want your money! I work a day job, and that's how I pay the bills. I am "paid" with occasional emails from satisfied customers.
5. I can't believe how badly your funky little service sucks! You are a loser and deserve to be taken out and maimed.
Alright! I love the freedom of speech! Thanks for keeping me on my toes, gift horse mouth lookers. If you really need something more out of an online invoicing program, please, search for yourself:
Most alternate methods come at a price though.
6. Can you add more itemizations?
While it is possible to add a nearly limitless quantity of itemizations, we are aiming for a printable invoice that only takes up one printed sheet.
7. Why doesn't your form remember my info?
I have not coded the browser "cookies" for the newer "orange-man" 2.0 layouts. I set a goal... Lemme work already!
8. Why on earth, my brother, did you change the output to a PDF?
What?!? PDFs are the bomb-shizzle! No more worries about cross-browser compatibilites. Now you can save your invoice and email it!
Anyway, the old and smelly invoice creation forms are alive and well for the time being. I called it the "Old School".
